Materials

The Federale features a hand loomed, organic cotton exterior from Oaxaca, Mexico. The cotton is grown and hand loomed the same as it has been done for generations–without pesticides.  The Federale is lined with a very soft 100% recycled polyester fleece lining.

Care

A ColcaSac sleeve will require close to no maintanence. If you get it dirty, we recommend spot cleaning it with a mild detergent and letting it air dry. Don’t machine wash or dry.

Story behind the name

“How could a couple of mid-twenty-year-old American guys have no contraband?,” thought the federale. The tenacious federale woke us from our peaceful night sleep on a Mexican beach with a bright spotlight shining in our eyes. The ensuing hour and a half was spent anxiously waiting as the federale thoroughly examined and searched every inch and corner of our car and our belongings. 1 1/2 hours?!? We were certain the federale would plant a few ounces of weed or cocaine under our backseat, impound our car, and throw us in prison. Instead the federale robbed us of a good nights sleep and a general belief that all Mexican federales are corrupt.
