The skilled Byzantine and Islamic weavers of the early Middle Ages created the Damask pattern (named after the city of Damascus). Damascus steel is also named after the same city. Legend has it that swords made from this steel had such strength and sharpness that they could cut through other swords. I'm trying to figure out why Chef Tony hasn't yet created the Damascus steel Miracle Blade®.  

The Damask Kindle Sleeve is made from finely printed cotton.
